Little Blues Learn to Play Hockey Program

The St. Louis Blues have partnered with the NHL and NHLPA to offer the Little Blues Program powered by First Community Credit Union, a low-cost Learn to Play hockey program designed to introduce children to the game of hockey for the very first time.

This 8-week introductory program is intended for children ages 4–9 who have never participated in organized youth hockey. Through fun, age-appropriate instruction, participants will learn the fundamentals of skating, hockey skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a positive environment.

Please note: Each child is eligible to participate in the Little Blues program one time only.

Program Cost

$250 per participant

The registration fee includes:

• 8 on-ice practice sessions
• A complete set of hockey equipment

Learn to Skate Recommendation

The Brightspeed Ice Park Hockey Department highly recommends that all participants complete a Learn to Skate class prior to enrolling in the Little Blues program. Basic skating skills help young players gain confidence and get the most out of their hockey experience.

Schedule

All Little Blues sessions will take place at Brightspeed Ice Park in Springfield, MO from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM.

Once equipment has been ordered, no refunds will be issued.
