Return to Centene Community Ice Center

The St. Louis Blues have partnered with the NHL and NHLPA to provide a low cost six-week program for kids to experience hockey for the first time through the Little Blues Learn-To-Play program.

This six-week introduction to hockey program is intended for boys and girls ages 4 - 9 looking to who have not participated in organized ice hockey before. All sessions will take place at the Centene Community Ice Center, the official practice facility of the Blues. Two Little Blues sessions per year will take place at one of the local Illinois rinks.

The Little Blues program cost is $200 per child and includes six weeks of on ice practices taught by Blues Alumni, a Little Blues graduation and a complete set of hockey equipment.

This program is intended for children who have not participated in an organized hockey program before. Children who have registered with a local Missouri Hockey association previously are not eligible to participate in this program.

Skating lessons are highly recommended before the start of the Little Blues Program.

Once registered, participants will attend a Pure Hockey equipment fitting event three weeks prior to the first ice session at the Centene Community Ice Center. Properly fit equipment is important for comfort, performance, & safety!
